The Chief Executive Officer, Consteng Nigeria Limited, a construction company, Engr. Hamed Olugbenga Babajide Lawal (FNSE, FICE, FNICE), has been conferred with the honourary chieftaincy title of Aare Atuluse of Igbogbo Kingdom by His Royal Majesty, Oba (Barr.) Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali, the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo.
Engr. Lawal, who has a decorated career in engineering and infrastructure, was installed on Wednesday, along with other prominent and distinguished individuals at the Adeboruwa Palace as part of the activities commemorating the 10th coronation anniversary of the Adeboruwa.

Asiwaju Kaoli Olatunji Olusanya, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bashorun Babatunde Rotinwa, former Head of Service and Alhaji Monzor Olowoshago, Publisher, Oriwu Sun, are some of the dignitaries that were at the installation to honour the new Aare Atuluse of Igbogbo Kingdom.
Engr. H.O.B. Lawal, founded Consteng Limited in 1982 with the headquarters located along Offin/Oreta Road, Igbogbo, Ikorodu Division, Lagos. He is a Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (FNSE) and is well-known for advocating local content policies in Nigeria’s engineering and construction sectors to ensure safety and infrastructure durability.
He is a prominent leader and philanthropist in Igbogbo and Ikorodu Division as a whole. Through his organisation, the HOB Lawal Foundation, he actively supports community development and provides scholarships for aspiring engineering students across Nigerian tertiary institutions.

He served as the Chairman, Ikorodu Chamber Of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) 2018 to 2020.
Engr.Lawal has made significant contributions to the engineering profession and regional infrastructure. As Chairman of the Civil Engineering Division of the Nigerian Society of Engineers in 2000/2001, he spearheaded its successful transformation into the Nigeria Institution of Civil Engineers, where he remains a Trustee and past National Chairman. Through Consteng Limited, he has also funded and executed major local drainage, road, and civic building projects.
Beyond engineering, Engr. Lawal is also recognised globally for his humanitarian services. Having served as Charter President of the Ikorodu Doyen Lions Club in 1982, and went on to become the first Nigeria International Director of Lions Clubs International Foundation.
